The Mike Kaupa Quartet performed at the Iris in 2012.  Jay Bianchi – Piano, Dan Hull Drums, Bud Fadale String Bass and of course, Mike Kaupa on Trumpet and Flugelhorn.   Always love getting the call to play with my dear old friend Mike Kaupa.   Not only is he an absolute joy to play behind but, he always brings the most incredible keyboard players with him.   In this case, the ever so fantastic, Jay Bianchi.   With Dan Hull on drums ….  WOW …  One of my most memorable evenings indeed.
